Intellectual Property Protection: Ensuring That Patent Strategies Safeguard Technological Innovation.

A delegation from the Market Supervision Administration and the Intellectual Property Protection Center of Tongzhou District, Nantong City, visited Jiangsu Youzhong Micro-Nano Semiconductor Technology Co., Ltd. to conduct research on topics such as patent exploration and layout, intellectual property protection, and policy support, as well as to provide on-site guidance.

Firstly, an introduction was made regarding the company's basic situation and development history, expressing a hope that the government will provide more support and guidance in terms of policy, particularly in the comprehensive guidance of patent requirements during the company's listing process, and it was suggested to explore the possibility of organizing relevant enterprises for technical exchanges. Secondly, regarding the progress of the company's R&D projects, an in-depth discussion was held with the attendees on issues such as methods of protecting research and development成果 (patent applications or trade secrets) and the layout of fundamental patents.

The conference addressed the issues raised by enterprises concerning the improvement of patent licensing rates, risk prevention, and policy needs. It emphasized a demand-driven approach based on the actual needs of enterprises and presented the new edition of the "Enterprise Support Policy Compilation." Additionally, it promoted the "Tongzhou District Market Supervision Bureau Enterprise Support" mini-program for real-time access to policy information. Companies are advised to prioritize the application for technologies that are innovative, closely related to core business, and producible at scale, while aligning with strategic emerging sectors. Furthermore, companies should leverage existing patents to create a technological "moat" that enhances the approval rate. The conference stressed that, based on the layout of intellectual property, companies should strengthen their applications for quality awards, participate in the formulation of group standards, and engage in forward-looking industry standard planning to enhance market competitiveness and brand influence, thereby solidifying their foundation for going public.

After the meeting, we toured the exhibition hall and provided detailed introductions to the self-developed equipment to the attendees, showcasing the achievements of technological innovation.
